Manuals, programming software and drivers for JUCJET radios. Models are grouped by version, because European and United States radios use different software — flashing the wrong one will stop your radio working. Not sure which one you have? Check the label under the battery, or email us. Spare earpieces, speaker microphones and programming cables are at the bottom of this page.
1. Licence-free · Europe & UK (PMR446)
No licence needed anywhere in the EU and the UK.
EP31 programming software
Updated 29 September 2026: download EP31 V1.0.7 above for the European EP31. Read the radio and save a backup before writing any settings. MP31 is the US GMRS version; W31 is a factory designation and is not enough to choose software. The EP31 installer may display T20. Do not use an older W31/EP31 GMRS package, MP31 GMRS firmware or T20 FRS software on the European EP31. EP31 software details
2. Licence-free · United States (FRS)
FRS radios are licence-free in the United States. They are not legal to transmit on in Europe.
T20 and T20 (FRS) are not the same file. T20 is the European PMR446 version, T20 (FRS) is the United States version. Do not cross-flash them — the radio will transmit on frequencies it is not allowed to use, and may stop working.
GMRS · United States — FCC GMRS licence required
Read and back up the radio first. This download contains CPS software only, not firmware or a firmware updater.
3. Licence required (amateur bands)
These models transmit on amateur radio bands. An amateur radio licence is required to transmit in most countries.
4. Guide for all models
Step-by-step programming instructions. Package contents vary. The UV-5R / UV-5RE download does not include a USB cable driver; check your cable model before installing a driver.
5. Spare parts & accessories
Earpieces, speaker microphones and programming cables.
Older models we no longer sell
