Do I need a licence?
Yes. The 430–440 MHz range is an amateur band. Transmit only on frequencies and power settings you are authorised to use in your country. If you want a radio with no licence at all, look at our PMR446 sets instead.

Can it talk to PMR446 radios?
No. PMR446 is a separate licence-free service on different frequencies.

How far does it reach?
Range depends on terrain, buildings, interference and antenna position — not on a number printed on a box.
