The JUCJET TG-A1 is a slim, license-free FRS walkie talkie for families, campers and small crews in the United States: 22 channels, hands-free VOX and a USB-C rechargeable battery with up to 118 hours of standby.

For shops, venues, workshops and events it is a simple radio to hand out: the same channel and code on every set, a channel lock against accidental changes, and factory-direct pricing on team orders.

What Sets It Apart

• License-free FRS, FCC certified — 22 FRS channels on 462 / 467 MHz — up to 2 W on channels 1–7 and 15–22, 0.5 W on channels 8–14, as FRS rules allow. No license, SIM card or subscription needed in the US; talks to other FRS radios set to the same channel and code. FCC ID: XBPTG-A1.
• Slim and easy to hand out — a slim, pocket-size radio with a top volume knob, a PTT key and two side keys for channel up and down. The fluorescent keys are easy to find in the dark.
• USB-C charging, long standby — each radio runs on a detachable 1000 mAh Li-ion battery: up to 118 hours on standby, or about 18 hours of typical use (5% transmit, 5% receive, 90% standby). The supplied charger's 2-in-1 USB-C cable charges both radios at once.

An Honest Word About Range

Real-world range depends on your surroundings, and the manual does not state a distance. Open ground with a clear line of sight gives the best results; buildings, dense streets, forests and indoor walls cut it down sharply. Like other FRS handhelds, the TG-A1 is made for short-range use — across a campsite, a store or a job site, not across a city.

Do I need a license?
No. FRS is license-free in the United States for personal and business use.

Will it talk to other FRS radios?
Yes. Set both radios to the same channel and the same privacy code (or code off). If you can hear but not reach another group, check that the CTCSS/DCS code matches.

How far will it reach?
The manual gives no range figure, so we do not quote one. Range depends on terrain: open, unobstructed ground with a clear line of sight gives the most distance; buildings, trees, hills and indoor walls cut it down sharply. Test coverage between your actual positions before you rely on it.

Does it work out of the box?
Yes. Switch both radios on, pick the same channel with the side keys and press PTT to talk. VOX, privacy codes and the side-key functions are set with PC programming software and a programming cable (not included). If your team needs a fixed channel plan across many radios, tell us in your quote.

Which battery does it use?
A detachable 3.7 V 1000 mAh Li-ion battery, charged over USB-C. Do not transmit while the radio is charging.

Can I use it in Europe or the UK?
No. This edition works on the US FRS band. For the EU and the UK we list a separate PMR446 edition of the TG-A1.

Can we buy on invoice or in volume?
Yes. Every order comes with an invoice in your company name and bank transfer is accepted. For team orders, request a written quote — factory-direct pricing on larger quantities.

When can I order?
